Kappa Alpha Psi Brothers For
Tony Holden
Tony Holden needs our help. Tony is a University of Memphis alumnus, Kappa Alpha Psi brother, father, and grandfather. From 2016, Tony had been working for a US-based defense contractor, Vectrus, supporting Camp Arifjan U.S. Army Base in Kuwait.
On November 9, 2022, Tony was set up and arrested by corrupt Kuwaiti police looking to earn bonuses. The officers reported such an obvious fabrication that a Kuwaiti judge immediately found it to be falsified. Incredibly, over two years later, Tony is still in prison.

How We Free Tony
The Emir of Kuwait is considering a list of people to pardon in December. We need to make sure Tony is on that list.
Tony’s case is an embarrassment for the Kuwaiti Government. He was only one of dozens of African American defense contractors who were targeted by corrupt officers and lawyers looking to score arrest bonuses and exhort American families. This pattern didn’t go unnoticed by the US Military or the US Media, and after intense scrutiny, the cases stopped.
That’s well and good for the next generation of American defense contractors, but Tony needs to be released now.
America’s military friendship is essential to the Kuwaitis. We need to let them know that this scandal isn’t over until Tony is home safe in the United States.

I know the U.S. and Kuwait have long been allies. It is my understanding that an American citizen named Tony Holden has been held in prison in your country on dubious drug-related charges since 2022. Mr. Holden is an upstanding American with no criminal record. He is a Muslim whose family and friends report that he has never used illegal drugs or imbibed alcohol. He was arrested by police officers who a Kuwaiti judge later ruled had submitted false documentation to the court. And it appears that he was both beaten to coerce a confession and he, his wife, and young daughter were driven at night out into the Kuwait desert and threatened with their lives if he did not sign a confession that had been written in advance in Arabic, which he did not speak at the time. Kuwait officials conducted a drug test on Mr. Holden, and it came back negative. They also searched him, his vehicle, and two residences and found no drugs. Mr. Holden needs to be pardoned and sent back to his family. What can you tell me about your government's consideration of this urgent request for action?
